Make Music Phoenix

June 21 @ 9:00 am - 8:00 pm
Free

Rosie’s House: A Music Academy for Children will present Make Music Phoenix on Sunday, June 21, 2026, a free, all-day citywide celebration featuring live performances, workshops, interactive music experiences and family activities at venues across Phoenix.

Inspired by the international Make Music Day movement, the annual event invites the community to experience music in museums, arts centers, cafés and public spaces throughout the city.

Now in its third year, Make Music Phoenix continues to grow as one of the Valley’s largest community music celebrations. Last year’s event engaged more than 5,700 community members across 13 ZIP codes in partnership with museums, libraries, businesses and more than 115 artists and volunteers.

“Make Music Phoenix is about bringing people together through the joy of music and creating opportunities for the entire community to participate,” said Becky Bell, President and CEO of Rosie’s House. “From hands-on music making and cultural performances to family-friendly activities and spontaneous musical moments across the city, this event celebrates the creativity and diversity that make Phoenix such a vibrant place to live.”

The day begins with the “Kickoff Celebration: 30 Years of Music” at Rosie’s House: A Music Academy for Children from 9 a.m. to noon, featuring performances by Rosie’s House alumni, students and faculty, along with free breakfast, Valley Metro passes, raffle prizes, workshops including mixing with DJ Dimension, an Instrument Petting Zoo, DIY instrument crafts, and free face painting.

Additional featured Make Music Phoenix events include:
