1.???? Private Nursing Rooms

Need to nurse or pump? You’re covered. Mesa Gateway Airport offers multiple private, clean, and quiet nursing rooms available near the gates and in baggage claim.

Each mother’s room is equipped with outlets, a cozy chair, and peace and quiet. It’s a moment of calm in your travel day.

2.???? Yes to Fresh Air: Outdoor Courtyard Beyond Security

5 ways mesa gateway makes flying with kids easierThis is our favorite hidden gem: an outdoor courtyard located after TSA screening. Let your kids run around, stretch those legs, and enjoy the sunshine before boarding. There’s seating, shade, and plenty of space to burn off energy before sitting on a plane.

There’s also another patio for dining at OHSO Brewery + Distillery.

  1. ???? Easy Drop-Off and Parking: Stress-Free From the Curb

With affordable parking just steps from the terminal and easy curbside drop-off, getting in and out is a breeze—especially if you’re flying solo with kiddos and car seats in tow.

To prove just how convenient it is, I actually timed it: from parking my car to getting through security and arriving at my gate, it took under 20 minutes. Try that at other airports.

We left our car at the airport during our recent trip to Missoula and I appreciated how near it was to the terminal, it was a shorter walk that when I park at Costco!

  1. ???? Nonstop Flights to Family Favorites (No Connections, No Chaos)

Mesa Gateway offers nonstop flights to over 45 cities, including family hotspots like Colorado Springs, Provo, and even seasonal routes to beach destinations and Midwest hometowns (what we did this summer). Fewer layovers = fewer meltdowns.

When we traveled earlier this summer to Missoula, Montana, (that travel guide is coming soon!) we scored a nonstop flight out of Mesa Gateway Airport via Allegiant Airlines.

  1. ???? Front-Row Seats for Takeoff: Plane Watching Paradise for Kids

5 ways mesa gateway makes flying with kids easierMesa Gateway Airport offers unbeatable views of the runway, with plenty of window-side seating where little ones can watch planes taxi, take off, and land.

Bonus: Many gates at this airport allow passengers to walk right up to the plane on the tarmac—turning boarding into an adventure (and the perfect photo op!). It’s like stepping into a real-life airplane movie set for your mini traveler.
