This is our favorite hidden gem: an outdoor courtyard located after TSA screening. Let your kids run around, stretch those legs, and enjoy the sunshine before boarding. There’s seating, shade, and plenty of space to burn off energy before sitting on a plane.
There’s also another patio for dining at OHSO Brewery + Distillery.
- ???? Easy Drop-Off and Parking: Stress-Free From the Curb
With affordable parking just steps from the terminal and easy curbside drop-off, getting in and out is a breeze—especially if you’re flying solo with kiddos and car seats in tow.
To prove just how convenient it is, I actually timed it: from parking my car to getting through security and arriving at my gate, it took under 20 minutes. Try that at other airports.
We left our car at the airport during our recent trip to Missoula and I appreciated how near it was to the terminal, it was a shorter walk that when I park at Costco!

Mesa Gateway offers nonstop flights to over 45 cities, including family hotspots like Colorado Springs, Provo, and even seasonal routes to beach destinations and Midwest hometowns (what we did this summer). Fewer layovers = fewer meltdowns.
