What East Valley Moms Need to Know About the Rebrand
Important Update (Feb. 25, 2026):
As of February 25, 2026, POGO Pass has officially merged with GetOut Pass and is now operating under the new name GetOut.
If you previously knew and loved the POGO Phoenix Pass, don’t worry — the concept remains the same. You’ll still get access to amazing local attractions with one bundled pass. The name has changed, but the savings and family fun are still here!
Today we’re reviewing the GetOut Phoenix Pass (formerly POGO Pass) and sharing a few tips and hacks we’ve learned after having it for the last three years.
If you’re anything like me as a mom, you try to get out of the house with your kids as much as possible to break up the monotony and save your sanity.
This is easy to do when the weather is nice and you can take advantage of all the free outdoor fun Arizona has to offer like parks and hikes/trails. But specialty attractions and indoor activities can easily add up to hundreds of dollars a month — especially if you have multiple kids.
Earlier this year, I made the transition to stay at home, so our finances definitely have gotten tighter. However, this pass is one of the BEST budget hacks for getting my kids into different activities around town without breaking the bank.
Keep reading for all my tips and hacks for maximizing your pass — and getting the best price.
XO,
Megan
What is the GetOut Pass? (Formerly POGO Pass)
Great question!
The GetOut Pass is a one-time purchase that gets you at least one admission into a ton of local family attractions around town.
Before February 25, 2026, this was known as the POGO Pass. After merging with GetOut Pass, the brand is now simply GetOut, but the Phoenix territory and local attraction lineup remain. More FAQs about them are here. https://getoutpass.kustomer.help/en_us/getout-upgrade-faq-SJUVm6w8bg
- The Phoenix Zoo

- KTR (Chandler & Scottsdale)
- Uptown Jungle (most locations)
- FatCats (Gilbert & Mesa)
- Phoenix Rock Gym
- Pangea: Land of the Dinosaurs
- Arizona Diamondbacks games
- Select ASU sports games
- Golfland
- AND MORE!
(Attractions may rotate, so always check the current GetOut website for the most up-to-date venue list.)
One of the best parts? It helps you discover places you may not have tried otherwise.
Lowest Priced GetOut Passes
Historically, the pass retailed around $120, but sales happen often — sometimes up to 50% off.
And the best news exclusively for our readers is that when you use code XOXOEVM, you’ll always receive the lowest available pricing no matter what promotion is running.
Even at full price, you can easily make your money back after just a few visits. Here’s how fast it can pay for itself:
- Phoenix Zoo adult ticket: $40
- Pangea adult ticket: $16
- D-Backs ticket: $22
- FatCats bowling or Glow Golf: $13
- Phoenix Rock Gym day pass: $20
- Golfland ticket: $13
Total: $124
That’s already more than the typical cost of one pass.
We’ve regularly purchased these passes for our family over the past few years and truly love them.
Do I Need to Purchase a Pass for Everyone in My Family?
Yes — each person seeking admission needs their own GetOut Pass.
I always purchase one for myself and one for each child over age 2, since most attractions offer free admission for kids under 2.
We’ve also purchased passes for:
- My mom (so she can take the kids on outings)
- My mother-in-law during extended visits
- Grandparents who want built-in activity options
It’s especially helpful if family members regularly take your kids on outings.
How Long Is the GetOut Pass Valid?
The pass is valid for 12 months from purchase, so don’t buy until you’re ready to start using it.
And as always — use code XOXOEVM for the best pricing. If you can grab each pass around the $60 mark, the value compounds quickly.
Be aware of time and day restrictions for each attraction. Some venues:
- Offer 2 visits instead of 1
- Allow 1 visit per week per location
- Restrict usage to weekdays or non-peak hours
We always consider this before purchasing a pass for my husband since he works full-time. Sometimes it’s cheaper to just buy him a regular admission ticket if he won’t use the pass often.
Stay Informed
Follow GetOut on Instagram or Facebook to stay updated on:

- Flash sales
Since the Feb. 25, 2026 merger, you may still see references to “POGO” floating around, but all new promotions and communications will be under GetOut branding.
Download the App
Download the GetOut app (available on Android and iPhone).
You can load all family passes into one account for:
- Easy tracking
- Barcode access at venues
- Monitoring remaining visits
Keep It Cool (The Mindset Shift I Love)
To me, the best feature of the GetOut Pass is the mindset shift.
If I pay $100+ for everyone to get into one attraction, I feel pressure to “make it worth it.” We stay too long. We push through whining. I leave frustrated.
But when I know we paid pennies on the dollar? I relax.
If it’s not a great fit, we leave. No guilt. No pressure. We just try the next place another day.
That freedom alone is worth it.
GetOut Passes Make the BEST Gifts
If you’re trying to give your kids more experiences and less stuff, this is such a smart gift.
Instead of one annual pass to one place, why not give a pass that covers multiple attractions?
These make great gifts for:
- Birthdays
- Christmas
- End-of-school celebrations
- Incentives for chores or grades
- Grandparent gifts
And don’t forget — use code XOXOEVM for the best pricing available.
