Today we’re sharing the most recommended local Vacation Bible School camps for kids of all ages, from our team of local East Valley Moms and from our community.
There are so many fun options for activities to sign your kids up for in the summer. Ranging from sports camps, church camps, acting classes, swim lessons, swim team, summer school, and many more, there’s no end to the things you can do with your kids this year!
When you think about all of these options partnered with family vacations and other travel arrangements, summer can get BUSY, real fast.
Whether you are religious or not, you are welcome to attend! Kids will make new friends, see old ones, and come home with songs stuck in their heads.

When is VBS offered in the East Valley?
There are so many churches that offer day or evening camps to elementary age kids that are a few hours long.
There are both morning and evening camps to benefit every family’s schedule needs.
These weeklong events are generally local and hosted at the campus of the church. Some are free to attend, and some have a fee. Be sure to check for a registration date as well.
What should my child expect for their first VBS?
You can expect high energy games, loud music with hand motions, water nights, and crafts to take home with you each day.
There is also a general theme for each camp for the week and the kids will learn about different stories in the bible.
Is there a free Vacation Bible School option in Mesa?
Yes! One Life in Mesa has “Summer Blast” on June 24-28 from 5-8 pm. This one is FREE and you can click here to register.
